What is hindering my realtionship with God

Mainly the media is "numbing my mind and blocking my view of God." Sometimes I can become to absorbed in "(TV, movies, news, internet)", the media, which is one main distraction for me just like B.J. Its not that I have to stop these thing I just need to limit my time with them and make time to be with God which I will even forget. The only others I could think of was selfishness, and pridefulness. Im sure there could be many other aspects hindering but these are the critical ones.
