Walker Moore’s quote, “Our disappointment is his divine appointment”

One time, when I was in first grade my teacher Mrs. Joanes gave me a dicipline slip because I lied to her.I remember I was dissapointed for whatever i did! I was supposed to bring the d-slip home to my parents but I thought that would make things worse, so I avoided giving it to them by throwing it in the trash. Not only did I lie to Mrs. Joans, but I also ridding my d-slip which is like lying to my parents that I never got in trouble. It turnes out Mrs. Joanes called my parent, who taught me a good lesson which benifited me more than if my parents did'nt find out what I had done. I would learn bible verses, write them down in my journal, and meorized them. Proverbs 12:22, one of my favorites talks about how lying is an abomination to God and that the faithful are delightful to him. Even at that age, this experience brought divine appointment and I relized how much less trouble it is to tell the truth first.
